BWY Canine was setup by a former Ministry of Defence dog handler with a over a decade of operational dog handling and training experience. Since 2008 we have taken onboard a number of former Police dog handlers and instructors with a wealth of knowledge, experience and professionalism. BWY Canine bases its training principles and operational procedures on ACPO (The Association Of Chief Police Officers) methods.

BWY Canine was established in 2008 to the meet the demand for canine services both in the United Kingdom and Internationally. This is mainly due to the rise in the drugs trade and the escalation in terrorism, both here in the UK and globally.

We are able to provide operational dog services for the UK and internationally in a wide variety of disciplines and all of our handlers and dogs are trained to ACPO Police standards.

Aswell as operational canine services we also have a wealth of experience delivering dog and handler training which can be carried out in the UK or overseas.

BWY Canine offers full Project Management, Consultancy, Training and Operational Detection Dog Services and we also specialise in providing detection dogs and related services to international clients and hostile environments. Our staff come from various backgrounds but the majority have been Police Dog Instructors at Regional Police Dog Schools and we have a number of ex Military specialists with experience of operating in hostile environments. We believe that we have all the bases covered when it comes to expertise.
